Parking ePermit Sales Information

Applicants are required to submit vehicle registration during the application process for all ePermit requests.  A lease agreement is also required when applying for the student commuter “C” ePermit.

Please note the date the ePermit is active will be different from the purchase date.

Thefollowing are important dates when
Parking ePermits will go on sale:

July 20 – Session “B” Commuter

August 19 – All “H” Residence Hall* and Apartments

September 2 – “C” Commuter Fall Quarter

The UCSB ePermit system works by associating your vehicle’s license plate with your individual parking account.  When read, the characters on your plate are automatically matched against the parking database to verify a valid permit for the lot location.

UCSB Residence Hall or Apartment applicants please make sure to include vehicle details, year, make, model and color, as well as uploading your vehicle registration.  Oversized vehicles applying for El Dorado apartment parking, if approved may be relocated to the Santa Ynez apartment parking lot.

Note, First-year students, including those with enough credits to be classified as sophomores living in any form of campus housing are prohibited from bringing vehicles to campus during their first year (FSSP, fall through spring quarters). *See the
First-Year Resident Parking Policy

Those applying for “C” Commuter permits please add vehicle details as well as uploading your vehicle registration as well as your lease or rental agreement.
